Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 13.10.2026

1. About us and these terms

1.1 This website, ddoctor.co.uk (the "Website"), is operated by Vital Caucas Probiotics Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), a company registered in England and Wales with company number 17129800 whose registered office is at 36 Market Place, Heckmondwike, England, WF16 0JG.

1.2 You can contact us at: 36 Market Place, Heckmondwike, England, WF16 0JG, email hello@ddoctor.co.uk, telephone 07471 579850.

1.3 These terms apply to your use of the Website and to every order you place with us. They are for consumers (individuals buying for purposes that are wholly or mainly outside their trade, business or profession). If you want to buy for a business or to resell, please contact us for separate trade terms.

1.4 Please read these terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy before ordering. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not order.

1.5 You must be 18 or over to place an order.

2. Our products

2.1 Our products are food supplements. They are not medicines. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease or medical condition.

2.2 Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied and balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle.

2.3 Always read the product label and follow the directions for use. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Keep out of the reach of young children. Store as directed on the label. The label, including the ingredients, allergen information, directions and warnings, takes priority over any description on the Website. If you have an allergy or intolerance, check the label before you use the product.

2.4 Please speak to your doctor, pharmacist or other healthcare professional before using any product if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, are taking medication, have a medical condition (including a weakened immune system or if you are receiving medical treatment), are about to have surgery, or are considering giving a product to a child. Do not stop or change any medical treatment because of anything you read on our Website.

2.5 If you experience an adverse reaction, stop using the product, seek medical advice, and let us know at hello@ddoctor.co.uk so that we can record it and take appropriate action. In an emergency, call 999.

2.6 Product images are for illustration, and packaging may vary slightly from what is shown. Information, articles and other content on the Website is general information only. It is not medical advice and should not be relied on as a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.

3. Placing an order and how a contract is formed

3.1 You can order through the Website by following the checkout process. Before you place your order, you will be able to review and correct any errors in the order, including the products, quantities, delivery address and total price.

3.2 After you place an order, we will send you an automatic email acknowledging that we have received it. That email is not our acceptance of your order.

3.3 Our acceptance takes place, and a contract between you and us is formed, when we send you an email confirming that your order has been dispatched. If your order contains several products, and some are dispatched later, a separate contract is formed for each product when that product is dispatched.

3.4 We may decline an order, or cancel an order before dispatch, for reasons that include: the product is out of stock or no longer available; a price or description on the Website was wrong; we cannot meet your delivery requirements; we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment; or we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse. If we do, we will tell you promptly and refund anything you have already paid for that order or product.

3.5 We may limit the quantity of a product that can be bought in a single order where reasonably necessary, for example to prevent bulk-buying for resale.

4. Prices and payment

4.1 Prices are shown in pounds sterling (GBP).

4.2 The total price you will pay, including any delivery charge, is shown at checkout before you place your order. We do not add any other mandatory charges after that point.

4.3 Payment is taken at checkout by card, Klarna, Paypal. We do not see or store your full card details. Payment is taken when you place your order. If we decline or cancel your order, we will refund you under clause 3.4.

4.4 We take care to show correct prices. If a price is wrong we will tell you before we accept your order, and you can choose to proceed at the correct price or cancel. We are not obliged to supply a product at an incorrect price, even after we have sent an acknowledgement, unless we have already dispatched it. However, we will not refuse to supply a product at a clearly advertised price except where the price is an obvious error that you could reasonably have recognised as one.

5. Discount codes and promotions

5.1 Discount codes and promotions, including any welcome code offered to newsletter subscribers, are subject to the terms stated when they are offered. Unless those terms say otherwise:

  • a code can be used once per customer;
  • a code cannot be combined with other discounts or codes;
  • a code applies only until its expiry date and only to the products or order value stated;
  • the free-delivery threshold in clause 6.3 is assessed after discounts are applied; and
  • a code has no cash value and cannot be applied to an order that has already been placed.

5.2 We may withdraw or refuse a code that has been obtained or used in breach of these terms, misused, or issued in error, but we will not withdraw a code you have already validly applied to an order that we have accepted.

6. Delivery

6.1 We deliver within the mainland United Kingdom. We do not deliver to Northern Ireland, the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands.

6.2 The delivery options, charges and estimated delivery times are shown at checkout.

6.3 Free UK standard delivery applies to orders of £50 or more (the order value for this purpose is the value of the goods after any discount codes are applied).

6.4 Unless we have agreed a different date with you, we will deliver your order without undue delay and in any event within 30 days after the day on which the contract is formed (see clause 3.3). Estimated delivery times shown at checkout are estimates only. If we do not deliver on time, contact us and, if the delay is significant, you may have the right to treat the contract as ended and receive a refund under consumer law.

6.5 If we are unable to deliver because of an event outside our reasonable control (see clause 15), we will tell you and, if the delay lasts for more than 30 days, you may cancel the affected part of your order for a full refund.

6.6 You are responsible for giving us a correct and complete delivery address. We may charge reasonable costs if we have to redeliver because the address you gave was wrong or nobody was available to receive the goods, but only where this was your fault.

6.7 Risk and ownership. The goods are at your risk once they are delivered to you or someone you have nominated (apart from the carrier) takes physical possession of them. You own the goods once we have received full payment.

6.8 Please check your parcel on arrival. If it is damaged or something is missing, contact us within 7 days (this does not affect your legal rights) with your order number and, if possible, photographs.

7. Your right to cancel (for consumers)

7.1 Your legal right to cancel. You have the right to cancel your order for any reason, without giving a reason, within 14 days after the day on which you (or someone you have nominated, other than the carrier) receive the goods. If the order is delivered in several parts, the 14 days run from the day on which you receive the last part.

7.2 How to cancel. To cancel, you must tell us clearly that you wish to cancel. You can do so by emailing hello@ddoctor.co.uk, by post to 36 Market Place, Heckmondwike, England, WF16 0JG, by telephone on 07471 579850, or by using the model cancellation form at the end of these terms. You do not have to use the form. Please include your name, order number and the goods you are cancelling. We will acknowledge your cancellation. To meet the deadline, you only need to send your notice before the 14 days expire.

7.3 Returning the goods. You must send the goods back to us without undue delay and in any event within 14 days of telling us that you wish to cancel, to: 36 Market Place, Heckmondwike, England, WF16 0JG. You will have to pay the direct cost of returning the goods. We recommend you use a tracked service and keep proof of posting. You are responsible for the goods until we receive them.

7.4 Refund. We will refund the price you paid for the goods and the cost of standard delivery (but not any extra cost of a more expensive delivery option you chose) within 14 days of the day on which we receive the goods back or, if earlier, the day on which you provide evidence that you have sent them back. We may withhold the refund until then. We will refund you using the same payment method you used for the order, and you will not pay any fee for the refund.

7.5 Care of the goods. You must take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession. You may open and handle them only to the extent needed to inspect them, in the way you could in a shop. If you handle them more than that and their value is reduced as a result, we may deduct that reduction in value from your refund.

7.6 Exceptions: sealed goods. For health protection and hygiene reasons, you cannot cancel and return sealed goods that you have unsealed after delivery. This applies to opened supplement packs, pots, bottles, blister packs and similar. It does not apply to goods that are faulty, damaged or not as described (see clause 8). If you are unsure whether a product has been "unsealed", please contact us before opening it.

7.7 If we cannot accept your return because the exception in clause 7.6 applies, we will tell you promptly and explain why.

8. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

8.1 We are required by law (the Consumer Rights Act 2015) to supply goods that are of satisfactory quality, fit for their intended purpose, and as described. This clause summarises your key rights and does not replace them.

8.2 If an item is damaged, faulty, past or too close to its best-before date on delivery, or not what you ordered, please contact us at hello@ddoctor.co.uk with your order number and a description (and photographs where helpful). Please keep the product and its packaging, including any batch number and best-before date, until we have responded.

8.3 Your rights under consumer law include:

  • Short-term right to reject: within 30 days of delivery you may reject faulty goods and receive a full refund.
  • Repair or replacement: after the 30 days, and in general within the first 6 months, if the goods are faulty you are entitled to ask for a repair or replacement. If this cannot be done within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you, you may be entitled to a price reduction or to a final right to reject and a refund.
  • Different rules and time limits apply after 6 months. You can find more information from Citizens Advice.

8.4 If goods are faulty and you have a right to a refund, we will refund you within 14 days of agreeing that you are entitled to one, using the original payment method. If we ask you to return goods, we will reimburse your reasonable return costs.

8.5 Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.

9. Our responsibility to you

9.1 Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for: death or personal injury caused by our negligence; fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; breach of your legal rights regarding goods (including satisfactory quality, description and fitness for purpose); defective products under the Consumer Protection Act 1987; or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

9.2 Subject to clause 9.1, if we fail to comply with these terms we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or negligence, but we are not responsible for any loss that was not foreseeable. Loss is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of our breach or if it was contemplated by you and us when we entered into the contract.

9.3 We supply goods for domestic and private use only. We are not liable to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

9.4 We are not responsible for loss or harm resulting from your failure to follow the label, usage or safety instructions, or from your failing to take medical advice where our product warnings recommend it.

10. Using our Website

10.1 The Website and everything on it (including text, images, logos, product names, designs and software) belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trade mark and other intellectual property rights. You may view the Website and print or download extracts for your own personal, non-commercial use. You must not copy, reproduce, republish, scrape or otherwise use content without our written permission.

10.2 You must not misuse the Website: for example, by introducing viruses or other harmful material, attempting to gain unauthorised access, using automated tools to scrape or place orders, or using the Website in any unlawful way. We may suspend or block access if you do.

10.3 We try to keep the Website available, accurate and secure, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be uninterrupted, up to date or free of errors. We may suspend, change or withdraw any part of the Website at any time.

10.4 The Website may contain links to other websites. We do not control and are not responsible for those websites.

10.5 Information on the Website is not medical advice. See clause 2.6.

11. Reviews and customer content

11.1 If you submit a review or other content to us, you confirm that it is truthful, based on your genuine experience, and not defamatory, unlawful or misleading, and that you have not been paid or otherwise rewarded for it (unless this is clearly disclosed).

11.2 You give us a non-exclusive, free licence to display, reproduce and use your review on the Website and in our marketing. You keep your own rights in it.

11.3 We may edit, decline or remove reviews that breach this clause, or that make claims about a product treating, preventing or curing an illness or medical condition, because we cannot publish those. We do not pay for, or offer incentives for, positive reviews.

12. Privacy and your personal data

12.1 We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, which explains what we collect, why, who we share it with (for example our payment, delivery and e-commerce providers) and your rights under UK data protection law.

12.2 We will only send you marketing emails if you have opted in (for example by subscribing to our newsletter). You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any marketing email or by contacting us.

13. Complaints

13.1 If you are unhappy with a product or our service, please contact us at hello@ddoctor.co.uk or on 07471 579850. We will acknowledge your complaint within 3 working days and aim to resolve it within 14 days (or tell you if more time is needed and why).

14. Changes to these terms

14.1 We may update these terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law or in how we operate. The terms in force at the time you place your order apply to that order. We will publish the updated version on the Website with a new "last updated" date.

15. Events outside our control

15.1 We are not liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations if caused by an event outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, natural disasters, fire, flood, epidemic, war, terrorism, strikes (other than our own), failures of utilities or communications networks, or supplier or carrier failures that we could not reasonably have avoided. We will tell you as soon as reasonably possible and take reasonable steps to limit the effect. This does not affect your legal rights to a refund for goods not delivered.

16. General

16.1 Entire agreement. These terms (with any information we give you at checkout) are the whole agreement between you and us about your order. This does not exclude liability for fraud or misrepresentation, or affect your legal rights.

16.2 Severability. If any part of these terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

16.3 No waiver. If we do not enforce a right straight away, it does not mean that we have given it up.

16.4 Transfer. We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation, and we will tell you if so, but this will not reduce your rights. You may not transfer your rights without our written agreement.

16.5 Third parties. Nobody else has any right to enforce these terms (Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999).

16.6 Language. These terms are provided in English, and all communications with you will be in English.

17. Governing law and disputes

17.1 These terms, and any dispute arising from them or from your order, are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland, you may bring proceedings in either the Scottish or the English courts. If you live in Northern Ireland, you may bring proceedings in either the Northern Irish or the English courts. This does not affect any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
